Fabulous 50s-inspired wallpaper featured on Design*Sponge. Probably a little too distracting for my study though.

This fabulous rocking chair, featured in the Design*Sponge’s ‘before and after series’, didn’t used to look nearly as nice.

Living room of our beloved (rented) apartment. Once again, excuse the phone photo quality. In case you’re curious, the Eames lounge is from Milan Direct, the vintage couch from the Salvos on Philip Island, the dining table and chairs are generous family hand-me-down, the coffee table in bottom left corner from Savers, bookshelves and mini-tables from Ikea, patterned cushion made by yours truly from vintage scarf, other assorted cushions from assorted op shops, vintage pot holder on table from Daylesford Mill Markets, and the wall art is by my talented fiance. We’re in the middle of sorting and re-shelving all our books. They’re normally much tidier than this.

Some of my favourite kitchen things. (Please forgive the blurriness. I had to take the photo with my phone because my camera is playing hide-and-seek.) The tins are from Daylesford Mill Markets, the Kenwood blender and metal jug were engagement gifts, the teacups and green teapot are gifts. The other teapots are from T2 and various markets, including Camberwell market.

Our kitchen. The Tintin panels are from Vietnam, the Breville toaster and glass vase were gifts. The kettle was from Kmart, the chopping boards from various kitchen shops. The tomatoes and roses are from the Victoria Market. Details of the right-hand corner items are in the next photo.
